Filthy Militia is an independent, seven-piece ska punk band based in North London. Formed in 2016, they are well-known fixtures of the UK underground punk scene, frequently headlining local grassroots venues like the New Cross Inn.
The band plays a high-energy blend of traditional 2-Tone ska, punk rock, dub, skacore, and heavy metal. They have a full horn section and utilize multiple guitars, giving them a distinctively layered, bouncing live sound.
We had an opportunity to see them during the launch of their second album – ‘High Ground’
