Hokie Joint is a British blues and roots-rock band formed in Essex in late 2007. They are best known for their raw, high-energy style that mixes blues, Americana, and dirty groove music. The band was started by five musicians who were tired of the standard guitar-rock dominating the 21st-century blues scene. Instead of just focusing on guitar solos, they created a vocal-driven, groove-based sound. Their energetic live shows have earned them a reputation as major festival “showstoppers”
